Visit the dashboard page and select Settings => Profile or if you are using the app, go to the account settings, and select the option to edit your account details. A: If you forget your password, don't worry! On the login screen, tap on the "Forgot Password" link, and follow the instructions to reset your password. You'll receive an email with a link to create a new password. Make sure to choose a strong, unique password for the security of your account.

Q: Can I access HouseLog from multiple devices?

A: Yes, you can access HouseLog from multiple devices. Your data will be synced across all devices, allowing you to manage your home tasks and information seamlessly.

A: Yes, you can easily share your home and all of its items (such as task list, inventory, images, etc). Please be aware that if you share your home, the other individual will have the ability to view and manage the home and all data related to it. They will also be able to add, delete and change home data. Only share your homes with trusted and known individuals such as family. Never share your home with strangers. To share your home navigate to your dashboard and select "Settings" => "Properties" => "Share Property"

Q: How do I add a new home to HouseLog?

A: Adding a new home is easy. In the dashboard, go to the "Settings" => "Properties" and click on "Add new Home". You will be prompted to add a new home immediately after registering as well.

Q: How can I add a maintenance task / to-do item?

A: Adding a maintenance task (or to-do item) is simple. Navigate to the "Maintenance" section, tap on the "+" icon, and provide the necessary details, such as the task name, date, and any additional notes. You can set reminders to ensure you don't miss important maintenance activities.

Q: Can I customize categories for my home inventory?

A: Yes, you can customize categories for your home inventory. Open the "Inventory" section, tap on the settings icon, and select "Manage Categories." From there, you can create, edit, or delete categories based on your preferences. This allows you to organize your home inventory according to your needs.

Q: How can I share my home with others?

A: You can invite family members to share your home so they can log actions, add and search inventory and do everything else you can do. To share your home navigate to your dashboard and select "Settings" => "Properties" => "Share Property". Please see warning about sharing a home in the previous section.
